Rock Pigeon (Rock Dove, Feral Pigeon)

The Rock Pigeon is a stout-bodied bird with a small head, short legs, and a gentle cooing call. While wild types typically display grey plumage with iridescent green and purple neck patches and double-barred wings, domestic and feral populations exhibit immense color variation, including pure white morphs like the one this feather originates from.

Pure white throughout, lacking any barring or markings. The coloration is driven by a lack of melanin pigmentation (leucistic or white morph variation common in domestic and feral pigeons).
