Ring-necked Pheasant (Dyed Feather)

The Ring-necked Pheasant is a striking gamebird introduced widely across the globe. Males feature brilliant iridescent copper and gold plumage, a dark green head, and a distinctive white neck ring. The feather shown here, however, is a natural bird feather that has been artificially dyed a striking neon green color for use in crafts, millinery, or fly tying.
