Eurasian Collared-Dove (Collared Dove)

The Eurasian Collared-Dove is a medium-sized, slender dove with a sandy-buff to greyish-pink plumage, easily recognized by the distinct black half-collar on the back of its neck. Known for its steady flight and familiar cooing call, it is a frequent visitor to suburban yards and bird feeders.
