Description
The common ostrich is the world's largest living bird, known for its flightlessness, powerful running legs, long neck, and large eyes. While they lack the interlocking flight feathers needed for aerial locomotion, their bodies are covered in luxurious, soft, plumulaceous feathers that lack the rigid hooklets found in flying birds, serving primarily for insulation and display.
