Eurasian Collared-Dove (also known as Collared Dove)

The Eurasian Collared-Dove is a medium-sized, slender dove with a distinctive black half-collar on the back of its neck. Plumage is generally a warm pinkish-grey or sandy-buff, fading to paler grey underparts. They are strong flyers with a rapid wingbeat and are often seen perched on wires or foraging on the ground in pairs or small flocks.
