Ring-necked Pheasant (Common Pheasant)

The Ring-necked Pheasant is a large, ground-dwelling gamebird. Males are strikingly colored with iridescent copper and gold plumage, a dark green head, red wattles, and a prominent white neck ring, along with a very long, barred tail. Females are mottled brown and buff for camouflage.
