The Rose-ringed Parakeet is a striking medium-sized parrot with a long, graduated tail, slender body, and predominantly bright green plumage. Adults feature a distinctive red beak and, in males, a narrow black and rose-colored neck ring. Known for their acrobatic flight, loud screeching calls, and gregarious nature, they are highly successful urban adapters.
